Kenneth C. Aldrich, Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder, has been active in venture capital investing and private equity since 1975. He is Co-founder and Chairman of International Stem Cell Corporation (ISCO), a Managing Director of Convergent Ventures, an early-stage life sciences investment company, and an active member of Tech Coast Angels.  Through those entities and predecessor companies, he has provided early-stage funding and  management for a variety of biomedical and technology start-ups, including WaveTec Vision Systems, an ophthalmic device company (as a Director and co-founder), Neurion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a drug discovery and evaluation company (as a Director and co-founder), and Orfid Corporation, a developer of organic transistors (as a founder and financial advisor).  He is also a director of Green Dot Corporation, the world’s largest issuer of prepaid debit cards.  Mr. Aldrich holds degrees, with honors, from both Harvard University and Harvard Law School.

Jeffrey Janus, President, has a proven track record extending over eighteen years of creating profitable commercial cell based businesses and building corporate value as a result. Jeffrey was a founder of Lifeline Cell Technology, the keystone company to ISCO’s portfolio of cellular companies. He led in the development and commercialization of Clonetics Corporation and the Clonetics brand of human cell products for both research and clinical use. Clonetics is the leading brand of human-cell based products, well known for quality and innovation. That company was successfully sold in 1995 after ten consecutive years of profitable growth exceeding 20%. Mr. Janus foresaw the need for human cells in therapy and created businesses in the contract manufacturing of human cells and culture media and human cells for clinical use. He has organized businesses providing unique research products using living cells to conduct drug screening in the pharmaceutical industry, product testing in the consumer products industry and basic research at Universities and Government laboratories. Critical staff from Clonetics Corporation agreed to join Lifeline largely based on the success of working Mr. Janus in the past. William B. Adams, CPA, CFO and Co-Founder, has 30 years of experience in the corporate consulting and financing arenas. Mr. Adams has provided seed capital and secondary and bridge financing to numerous start-up companies both individually and as a manager of various private investment partnerships. He is a Managing Member of Convergent Investors, LLC (also known as "CV-I"). Mr. Adams served as CFO of Neurion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a CV-I portfolio company. Through investments prior to the formation of Convergent Ventures, Mr. Adams is a co-founder of WaveTec Vision Systems, an ophthalmic device company and Lifeline Cell Technology, LLC. He served as President of Wm. Adams Accountancy Corporation and was a founder of Dimensional Planning Group, a management consulting and financial planning company. Previously, Mr. Adams was an accountant at Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young). Mr. Adams holds a B.S. in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach and is on the alumni Board of Ernst & Young in Los Angeles.

Elena Revazova, Ph.D., M.D., Chief Scientific Officer, is one of the world's experts in creating immortal cell lines without the introduction of cancer causing factors. Dr. Revazova was a leading cell biologist in the Soviet Union before coming to the U.S. eight years ago. She is now a US citizen.  She has personally created or supervised the creation and patenting of over 50 different cell models that include, stomach, colon, liver, renal, lung, muscle and skin cells and has also created stable human cell lines from tumors of various organs and tissues  Dr. Revazova’s access to the leading scientists and research institutes in the former Soviet Union has proven to be an invaluable asset to Lifeline. Those relationships are expected to continue to add value, even though the Company’s base of operations is in the United States.

Jeremy Hammond, Director of Quality Control, has over eighteen years of experience developing human cell based products and the quality control systems critical for their manufacture. He created and implemented the quality control systems that were responsible for making Clonetics products world renown for consistency and reproducibility. These quality control systems are the standard for companies currently manufacturing human cell based products. Mr. Hammond is expert in the field of both serum-containing and serum-free media formulations and in the purification of human cells, fields critical for therapeutic applications of cell culture technology.

Gregory S. Keller, M.D., Co-Founder and Scientific Advisor, is Co- Director of Facial Plastic Surgery, Division of Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles. He has been involved in medical product development and applications for 26 years, and holds numerous patents on emerging medical technologies that have successfully transitioned to active medical products. Dr. Keller has been involved in cell technologies and their applications for the last 10 years.
